[Pkg-puppet-devel] Puppet's storeconfig option in Jessie

Hi,

We recently upgraded our puppet master to Jessie and noticed it wasn't
possible anymore to use the storeconfig option, which is necessary for
exported resources to work.

It seems that the puppet version shipped in Jessie is now supposed to use
puppetdb as a backend, but it is not packaged yet (that's #673515).

So that means that any manifest that uses exported resources will have to
be adapted when upgrading to Jessie. Looks like a regression.

It doesn't seem to be documented on the release notes, might be worth
adding it.

But the question I wanted to ask is: are there plans to have support for
this in Jessie? Or maybe know hacks to get rid of it while using a similar
feature?
