Hello,

I'm sorry for side-tracking the discussion again: I just thought of a
detail that might help some folks whenever we're able to get
puppetserver 6 landed in debian.

would it be a good idea to backport the puppet package to
stretch-backports? this would make it possible for debian stretch
machines to stay connected to the puppetmaster after having upgraded it
to puppetserver 6.


of course, this side-subject is not meant to put something else on the
front burner. this topic may be postponed until we do have puppetserver
in the package archives.
