world around us. Also, I loved the addition of humour in between the lines of
the story which adds to the point that the author is explaining. As a lover of
history and a science enthusiast, tho' not a golfer, this was a delightful read.
The book will be educational for people who want an easy introduction to the
growth of science and the many impacts it has had on our modern world.' -

them plenty of time to chat between shots. Their chats combine to tell the story
of the growth of modern science from its early day's, 2,800 years ago in Ancient
Greece, to the present day and The Large Hadron Collider. They describe in
simple terms the major contributions by exceptional thinkers such as Aristotle,
Galileo, Newton and Einstein, as well as by many other not so well known
scientists. 18 Holes is a compelling tale told by Bob and Alec in their normal
everyday language without any technical jargon for the reader to puzzle over.
