the story which adds to the point that the author is explaining. As a lover of
history and a science enthusiast, tho' not a golfer, this was a delightful read.
The book will be educational for people who want an easy introduction to the
growth of science and the many impacts it has had on our modern world.'

The game in front of Bob and Alec are very slow and this gives them plenty of
time to chat between shots. These chats build up to an explanation of the the
history of science starting with Thales of Miletus, 2,800 years ago in Ancient
Greece and covering all the major advances right up to the Large Hadron Collider
and the explosion in our knowledge over the last century. It's a compelling tale
told by the golfers in their normal everyday language with no technical jargon
which the reader has to puzzle over.
