Considering that 1) by default sysvinit systems have been migrated to 
systemd three releases ago, 2) the systemd unit file takes precendence 
over the initscript, and 3) that this systemd unit file is installed 
disabled-by-default, I don't think any further work or even a NEWS item 
is warranted here.
