Bug#506861: python-debian: Please add support for lzma-compressed debs

Package: python-debian
Version: 0.1.12
Severity: normal

Debian packages can contain an lzma-compressed data.tar.lzma. Please
consider adding support for this.

Unfortunately, the tarfile module doesn't currently support LZMA
(bug 503983), probably because Python doesn't have a standard module for
LZMA as it does for gzip and bz2.
