<div dir="ltr"><div>The default compression method used by dpkg in Sid, Jessie, (and Trusty Tahr) is now xz (changed from gzip)<br><br></div><div>So tools that write to .deb using dpkg defaults and read using python-debian are now broken (python-debian will throw an exception).<br>
