hi everyone,
I have worked a bit pn precompilation of perl6 files along the
discussion in [0] and following the plan set out by dominique.
The result is a rakudo with a rakudo-helper.pl script that gets called
by module package postist and postrm scripts, as well as by rakudo
postinst during upgrade. it's all in the precomp-rakudo-helper branch
[1]. Along with this I have some stub packages of perl6-json-tiny,
perl6-json-path (that depends on the former) and perl6-tap-harness that
gets used by perl6-json-tiny during package build to run tests.
All of this needs niftification, cleanups and more documentation. But
most of all it needs reviews and comments! Please have a look and let me
know what you think
thanks robert
