I've reproduced this issue.

nqp-data is missing *.nqp files. Looks like nqp's build system no longer 
install these files.

I don't know if this an expected behavior or a bug on nqp side. I've opened 
https://github.com/Raku/nqp/issues/675 to track this issue upstream.

In the meantime, I'm going to tweak debian/rules to install the missing nqp 
files until this issue is sorted out upstream.
