Bug#1086555: On ARM, spesh arg guard interpreter can enter an infinite loop

Thank you for the bug report!

With the guest account on amdahl.debian.org I was able to track down 
what I believe to be the cause of this issue.

I have modified the title of the bug report to describe the cause.

The fix is in the upstream repository, but still needs to be turned into 
a merge request.

It is also applied as a patch to the moarvm debian package. Version 
2024.09+dfsg-3 includes this patch and the source package has been 
accepted into unstable about half an hour ago.

I expect that this fix is enough to get the transition to finish.
