It make me sad to see your view on this.  Allowing spam on the mailing
list give a bad impression and will scare some people from subscribing
to the list (at least I am very reluctant to join a mailing list with
spam on it), as well as contributes to the spread of spam as the
spammers get their name and links into the mailing list archive.

As I am not subscribed to the list (and unlikely to do so its spam
policy) and not a member of the team, I am reluctant to start moderating
the list.  It is best done by members of the team using the list.

I'm sorry for the disturbance, I just wanted to offer a simple proposal
to spare active and potential the mailing list subscribers and the list
archive readers the spam.  I did not want to start a large debate.  Just
ignore me for now. :)
