[Pkg-raspi-maintainers] X server on RPi3

Hi,

after dropping out of the team some time ago*, I tested the current
preview image.

It works quite well, but once I start lightdm (and enter my username -
sometimes it takes a bit), I get an error from vc4_v3d complaining it
cannot allocate memory. It proposes to enable CMA, but when I add
cma=128 to the kernel command line, HDMI stops working at all.

Any hints?

*: Due to lack of time, and especially trouble getting access to build
systems and with my application manager having vanished for almost a
year now) - but I will certainly join in again once that was resolved
