[Pkg-raspi-maintainers] RPi3 temperature / frequency readout?

Hello,

can you please help with magic lines to learn about the temperature of
the RPi3 and at what frequency the CPU is operating?

This is apparently different from what Raspbian makes us expect. I am
running your 20180108 buster image, i.e.
CONFIG_THERMAL=y
CONFIG_HWMON=y
CONFIG_THERMAL_HWMON=y

# find /sys -maxdepth 11 -name \*_input -o -name temp
/sys/devices/virtual/thermal/thermal_zone0/temp
# cat /sys/devices/virtual/thermal/thermal_zone0/temp
cat: /sys/devices/virtual/thermal/thermal_zone0/temp: Invalid argument
# ls /sys/devices/virtual/thermal/thermal_zone0/
available_policies  k_po                passive subsystem/
trip_point_0_temp
integral_cutoff     k_pu                policy sustainable_power
trip_point_0_type
k_d                 mode                power/ temp                type
k_i                 offset              slope trip_point_0_hyst   uevent

Cheers,

Steffen
