Package: raspi3-firmware
Version: 1.20180619-1
Severity: normal

Hi!

When installing linux-image-4.18.0-2-arm64 having installed
linux-image-4.18.0-1-arm64 I ended up without the proper -2 initrd on
/boot/firmware, only the -1 initrd was seen by raspi3-firmware, so after the
installation I was left with:
# grep initrd /boot/firmware/config.txt
initramfs initrd.img-4.18.0-1-arm64
# ls /boot/firmware/initrd.img*
/boot/firmware/initrd.img-4.18.0-1-arm64

I believe this is because of the order of the scripts at /etc/kernel/postinst.d/:
# ls /etc/kernel/postinst.d/
50raspi3-firmware apt-auto-removal initramfs-tools unattended-upgrades

The output of the apt-get install linux-image-4.18.0-2-arm64 command was:
Selecting previously unselected package linux-image-4.18.0-2-arm64.

update-initramfs: Generating /boot/initrd.img-4.18.0-2-arm64
raspi3-firmware: deferring update via initramfs-tools (hook will be called later by the kernel

Hope this helps.

Regards.
