[Pkg-raspi-maintainers] UART with debian sid

Hi everyone,

I'm currently experiencing some issues while trying to setup RaspBee
II with UART on a RaspberryPi 4 Model B with Debian sid.

Long story, short: dmesg shows that /dev/ttyAMA0 is registered but it is
not listed in /dev/ and I'm not able use it:

[ 3.454604] fe201000.serial: ttyAMA0 at MMIO 0xfe201000 (irq = 24, base_baud = 0) is a PL011 rev2
[ 3.459464] serial serial0: tty port ttyAMA0 registered

root at zigbee:~# mknod -m 660 /dev/ttyAMA0 c 204 64
root at zigbee:~# echo foo >/dev/ttyAMA0
-bash: /dev/ttyAMA0: No such device or address

On 32-bit Raspbian, the device existed after boot and worked
correctly. I also tried to add "8250.nr_uarts=0" to the boot command
line, but that does not fix /dev/ttyAMA0 and also breaks the
/dev/ttyS* devices.

Does anyone have an idea what I can do to fix UART on the GPIO interface.

Cheers,
Tom
