[Pkg-raspi-maintainers] Bug#983896: raspi-firmware: please link /boot/firmware/*.txt to /etc/raspi-firmware/*.txt

Dear Maintainer,

please link /boot/firmware/*.txt to /etc/raspi-firmware/*.txt so etckeeper
(if installed) will automatically keep backups and history for those crucial
files!

I wasn't aware that config.txt would be overwritten by a kernel install and
was bitten by that. Recovery would have been easy with /etc/raspi-firmware/
and etckeeper installed...! (which I have everywhere)
