[Pkg-raspi-maintainers] gpizero maintenance and team membership.

Hi.

Dave Jones (Upstream maintainer of gpiozero and member of the Raspberry pi team in Ubuntu) and
I would like to improve the state of gpiozero in Debian. The package is currently several versions
behind upstream and has not seen a maintainer upload in over 2 years.

We would like to become co-maintainers of the gpiozero package and update it to the latest upstream
version. Towards this end Dave has recently packaged colorzero under the python team and I have
sponsored it.

We are also considering packaging lg-gpio and switching gpiozero to use it by default. This
should improve the out of the box experience as it should work without adding kernel command
line parameters ( rpi.gpio requires iomem=relaxed ). It also opens up possibilities for supporting
other SBCs and supporting remote GPIO with plain Debian on both the client and the server (
pigpio supports remote GPIO with a Debian client, but the pigpio server needs a foundation kernel).
