FWIW, UML isn't necessary for non-kernel related sarge work, just use a
chroot...

(probably not worth it unless there are security/data-loss bugs in
sarge; other updates would not be accepted.)
p.s. i'm desperately trying to catch up with email, work, Real Life
after some travel, but if a sponsor is needed for 3.4.5 or 3.6 packages,
