Weird. Are you sure it's the same UTF-8 issue? How about building
with the -kkey-id dpkg-buildpackage option?

A note about your SVN commit: I see no reason to increment the
version number to 3.6.1-2. I think keeping it at -1 and using
the dch multi-maintainer style would be better. Or was there
a specific reason for -2?
