Hm, I now realize that this came out a bit unclear. What I meant to say
is that it's too late to fix this for Etch, which is going to be released
with 3.6.1-4.

I attached the backported patch for the convenience of any Etch users
who need this fixed; they will have to apply it themselves.

The patch will hopefully be included in the first upload after Etch
has released.
