After some testing and debugging i found the problem. It was 
misconfigured mysql - utf settings in my.cnf. Because of this data was 
utf8-double encoded.

So problem was only in my one configuration. Anyway some docs about this 
user-based issue would be fine. Something like:

"If you have problem with infinite login, try to alter table... If it 
helps, probably you have bad encoding in database."

5 from etch, but same was with 4.1 from sarge.

DNS is ok, include reverse.

FF2 from sid, but same problem (but with previous server installation) 
was with latest opera too.
