3.6.5 is in current unstable & testing, thanks to Niko's great work.

Non-security/critical updates like this aren't accepted in official 
Debian stable.

It would be a possibility to make 3.6.5 available from backports.org, 
though.  I'm not personally aware of any current plans to do so.
