[request-tracker-maintainers] planning to upload the experimental branch to unstable

Hi folks,

even if I would prefer more active people in this group (cf. the
RFH I recently sent), I think I'm still going to upload the current
request-tracker3.6 experimental branch to unstable before the freeze. I'd
hate to see all the work go wasted, and I think it's pretty stable
now. There's a call for translations out on the debconf templates,
and I'm not going to add any more functional changes for Lenny.

Please give it a go if you can, if only to point out issues that need
more documentation. If you can't, at least let me know if the whole
thing looks hopelessly overengineered or the best thing since sliced
bread. I really haven't had a single comment yet from anybody, and
I've been (sporadically) working on this for at least half a year.

I think early next week would be a good time for the upload, but that
might still change.

(If you haven't followed on the work at all, see the NEWS.Debian entries for a
 summary of the changes:

 http://svn.debian.org/wsvn/pkg-request-tracker/packages/request-tracker3.6/branches/experimental/debian/NEWS?op=file&rev=0&sc=0
)

Cheers,

Niko
