It would be nice to have an httpd-fastcgi virtual package for this.
I have no idea about the possible alternatives; 'apt-cache search'
suggests lighttpd and msp-webserver.

Hm, I see libapache2-mod-fastcgi indeed supports an external fastcgi
server. Didn't know that.

Any suggestions for a better scheme?
