Hi,

Please could you confirm whether adding the appropriate source as a
Debian patch would be okay or whether you'd need the source in the
upstream tarball (what about a supplementary tarball?)

The reason I ask is that upstream have frozen 4.0.0 and are planning
to add the source in 4.0.1, and I'd like to know whether it's worth
uploading 4.0.0 with the source as patches, or whether I should wait
for 4.0.1 - but this is a general question too which I'm not sure about.
