Thanks for reporting this; you are right.

FWIW; rt-extension-sla has been packaged to be useful for people running
jessie/stable.  I am running it on jessie production systems.

I am wondering if it would be usefull to have rt-extension-sla in unstable for
the next couple of months...  Unfortunately, as long as it is not in testing,
it can't be in backports either; due to the backports policy :( .
