[Pkg-roundcube-maintainers] Bug#588084: roundcube-core: default charset should be UTF-8

Package: roundcube
Version: 0.3.1-3
Severity: wishlist

Hi there!

Since etch, Debian defaults to UTF-8. However, roundcube-core ships
/etc/roundcube/main.inc.php containing the following:

--8<---------------cut here---------------start------------->8---
// Use this charset as fallback for message decoding
$rcmail_config['default_charset'] = 'ISO-8859-1';
--8<---------------cut here---------------end--------------->8---

The above should changed to UTF-8 or, if you really want a fallback
default that every system can understand, US-ASCII.

Thx, bye,
Gismo / Luca
