well i'm quite new in debian and actually had till now only packages without
configfile handling. So it would be great if you can halp me there. Otherwise
yes I'm interessed in the maintance :) Maybe one notice: I'm a employee of
kolab, too.

The current update script is "quite" smart it scans through the existiong ons
and test them against the default value. only if they differ from that these
values are moved to the new config file. So it should handle both cases
successfully in most cases :) But for sure I would leave backup file, just for
the case.

Am I allowed to run a php script in preinst scriot. I had read, that I only
can depend on build essentials [1]? Or did I mixed something up?
