Mostly to facilitate upstream version tracking via d/watch. They are
different unrelated upstream projects with different authors, licenses, and
release pace, and the roundcube-plugins-extra's current multi-component orig
files has been difficult to work with which unfortunately has led to plugins
falling out of date. roundcube-skin-* also got their own source package after
upstream moved the old themes out of the core repository for the 1.6 release.
Moreover splitting provides users tighter dependency control; some plugins
have specific requirements on the minimum Roundcube version, others depend on
a specific software or library, etc. (But of course keeping a single source
package with multiple binary packages would also address that latter concern.)
Cheers,
