[Pkg-roundcube-maintainers] bug in the packaging of Roudcube for Debian 12 ?

Thanks for your work.

I just found a problem with Roundcube in Debian 12 estable and I am 
studying how to report using ReportBug, but it really seems dificult to 
use. Also, I still don't know if it is a bug or my mistake:


     "apt purge roundcube" don't remove roundcube configuration files


Is it a bug , or it is my mistake ?

I installed "apt install roundcube" in a virtual machine with updated 
Debian 12 and the I realized that all was ready for using Roundcube with 
MySQL, but I wanted Roundcube with SQLite, so I did "apt purge 
roundcube" and "apt autoremove" but it didn't remove the configuration 
files in /etc/roundcube and /etc/dbconfig , so when I reinstalled "apt 
install rouncube rouncube-sqlite3" it was still with the old wrong 
configuration files. Finally I fix the problem deleting the packages by hand

Is that a bug? Or is that Roundcube automatically installs dependency 
roundcube-core and it is this last package what I have to "purge" ?
