Package: rrdcached
Version: 1.7.1-2
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
It looks a lot like setting DAEMON_USER to non-root renders rrdcached unable
to clean up its own pidfile and socket, which are usually owned by root. I
feel that this is a bug. I am attempting to follow best practice by not
running the daemon as root (and choosing the munin user seems a sensible
choice).
