[Pkg-ruby-extras-maintainers] Fate of the sources file

Hello all,

With the upcoming 0.11 upload of the ruby-pkg-tools and the sources list
begin deprecated 0.10 we have to decide on the fate of this file.
I propose, after talking about this with Lucas, to:

* Use watch-files primarily, when possible.
* Use the sources file as fallback when a watch-file is not possible.

If we decide to do this, we need to take the following actions.

* Change pkg-ruby-get-sources to follow the above two steps.
Possible it is done this way already?
* Clear not-used entries from the sources file.

Any objections? Thoughts?

Paul
