[Pkg-ruby-extras-maintainers] question on how to include extra sources

Hi everybody,

I am just getting ready to move my debian/ dirs for libcomplearn-ruby
into our repos.  I am concerned about one issue though:
libcomplearn-ruby will not build without libcomplearn
installed.   And libcomplearn will not build without libcsoap.  I
guess libcsoap and libcomplearn  should not be brought into our ruby
extra repos here... so what should I do to ensure that the pbuilder
can find the required psckages somewhere?  For my own compilation I
have used my own debian.cilibrar.com apt repos but this seems
inappropriate for general use.  Can somebody give me a tip how to
manage this properly?  Or maybe just point me to an example ruby
project to follow to find out the right way to do it.  Thanks for any
