The problem is that if one of our packages becomes RC buggy, we are
supposed to upload a fixed version with the smallest possible amount of
changes. So changing a part of the build system in this upload would not
be acceptable: we would have to upload using the old build system.
But this wouldn't really be a problem, since we could use the tags to
retrieve an older version and work from that.
