Agreed Lucas, Daigo has done his best and remained open to this discussion,
so I hope we can all agree to take this off the table.

One correction, I believe Tollef left Canonical in 2008. I know I just met
him for the first time in June, and he was no longer with the company at
that time.

I'd like to see us get through the theoretical and philosophical decision
before we start getting deep into any implementation, as I think that 
would be getting way ahead of ourselves. However, I think 
/var/lib/gems/$ruby_version should simply remain in ruby's path for this
version, and at some point, a "Breaks:" can be added when we remove that.
