Just to keep the bug report updated, I began work on this in the
pkg-ruby-extras git repository and will finish preparing the upload,
hopefully tomorrow, once I confirm that I understand the correct way
to handle multiple daemons and configuration directories to support
multiple ruby interpreters with the new ruby packaging standards.
