Public bug reported:

MANUAL EMAIL CONFIGURATION
Email settings are not automatically configured, for a quick setup, copy
/usr/share/doc/redmine/examples/email.yml
to
/etc/redmine/<instancename>/email.yml
But the package doesn't contain that file, nor is it present after the
instalation:
dpkg -L redmine | grep email.yml doesn't return anything
ls /usr/share/doc/redmine/examples/email.yml
ls: cannot access /usr/share/doc/redmine/examples/email.yml: No such file or directory
