Package: ruby-activerecord-3.2
Version: 3.2.3-2
Severity: grave
Justification: breaks reverse dependencies
Hi,
since the package was renamed[1], reverse dependencies are badly broken:
Your package has an out-of-date binary so can't migrate anyway. Trying
to decruft it, the following bad things happen:
| Checking reverse dependencies...
| # Broken Depends:
| rails: libactiverecord-ruby
| libactiverecord-ruby1.8
| libactiverecord-ruby1.9.1
| ruby-feedtools: ruby-feedtools
|
| # Broken Build-Depends:
| ruby-fast-gettext: ruby-activerecord

(Opening the bug against the version which introduced the breakage.)
I'm not sure what you want to do here to fix it. Introduce a Provides:
maybe? I didn't check whether some of the packages are using versioned
dependencies though.
Mraw,
KiBi.
