Package: ruby-pango
Version: 1.1.3-2+b1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

since recently, trying to load pango in ruby-1.8 fails:

$ echo "require 'pango'" | /usr/bin/ruby1.8
/usr/lib/ruby/vendor_ruby/1.8/x86_64-linux/pango.so: /usr/lib/ruby/vendor_ruby/1.8/x86_64-linux/pango.so: undefined symbol: rb_cCairo_Context - /usr/lib/ruby/vendor_ruby/1.8/x86_64-linux/pango.so (LoadError)
	from /usr/lib/ruby/vendor_ruby/1.8/pango.rb:28
	from -:1:in `require'
	from -:1

I noticed this when trying to use screenruler, which still requires ruby-1.8.
