Okay.  So we reinstalled bundler and did then a `bundle install` for the
gitlab stuff.  Now gitlab worked again.  The latest update of bundler
from debian testing (1.5.1+dfsg-1) pulled in afterwords didn't break
anything, either, i.e. now everything works as expected.
