the package description now starts with
«and 4 applications, and integrates these ...»

It seems like there is some part missing at the beginning of the
description. Another option could be that the extended description is
the continuation of the single line synopsys (short description) of the
package, but this is not allowed by Debian Policy (see sect. 3.4.2
https://www.debian.org/doc/debian-policy/ch-binary.html#s-descriptions)
