[DRE-maint] Bug#839702: gitlab: logrotate not working?

Hi,
is it supposed to logrotate logs on it's own?

If not, then i think , that file 
lib/support/logrotate/gitlab
from sources should be adapted for debian paths and 
installed to /etc/logrotate.d
