[DRE-maint] Bug#856606: gitlab: fails to upgrade from 'stretch': nginx example configuration file not found

Can you please explain why you consider this a bug even after I closed
the bug once? Are we supposed to support upgrading between versions in
unstable? This is going to be the first version of gitlab in a stable
release.
