Stretch backports won't be receiving any updates for 2 reasons.

1. Upstream provides security support only for 3 months, so we have to always update to new upstream releases.

2. Since it was removed from testing it cannot be uploaded to backports.

Please update to the version in buster fasttrack (personal repo). In my personal repo, I regularly update to latest security releases. We are also working on making this an unofficial repo open to other Debian Developers.
