I think we have not received the same level of respect from the rest of the project. Since everyone is pushing for strict interpretation of rules with no regards to our contribution, I'm also forced to go by the strict interpretation of rules. Once we get gitlab working with rails 5.2, and if this bug is the only blocker, I will close this bug as bogus asserting my rights as the maintainer.
