Package: ruby-cmdparse
Version: 3.0.4-0~kmk1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

the version of ruby-cmdparse in the debian-archives is (for years now) 2.0.6. The upstream version
is 3.0.4 (see: https://cmdparse.gettalong.org).

Although this package is mainly a dependency for the static website-generator webgen which itself is
removed from the debian archives since 2012 it would be nice to have at least an actual version
of cmdparse in the debian archives. BTW: An actual webgen version needs at least ruby-cmdparse > 3.0.1
to work (see: https://webgen.gettalong.org/installation.html).

I built personal packages of ruby-cmdparse 3.0.4 (as well as packages of webgen 1.7) which
might be an inspiration. You find them at: http://apt.klaumikli.de/testing).

Thanks for maintaining the package!

Klaumi
