ACK, that's one of the reasons I'm thinking about all of this.

ACK, that's what I'm leaning towards, too.

Do you have practical experience in regards to the new interface? I'm
wondering especially if it works as expected in virtual machines as
well, regardless of the setup (for example passing a host rng device
into the vm) or the virtualization technology in use? And what about
containers?
