[DRE-maint] Bug#1025001: gitlab: Some UI elements, including buttons, are replaced with "undefined"

Dear Maintainer,

I am indeed experiencing the same issues since the last upgrade. I 
noticed, however, that some buttons are still there and useable, but 
they are simply invisible unless hovered or clicked (i.e., they only 
lack text). Especially modal dialogs are entirely unusable, though.
