If I remove mongrel-cluster, mongrel is able to start.<br>

This problem might be caused by libgemplugin-ruby, since mongrel-cluster seems<br>
to be the only "gem plugin" packaged in Debian, and its mechanism is not<br>
triggered if there are no "gem plugins" installed (the case when I remove<br>
mongrel-cluster).<br>
