I've just reuploaded rust-flate2. it would be great if you could reconsider your position and
it is blocking the Debian Rust team for uploading some more great packages.

Rust is bringing so much to dev world that I think we can afford a few extra kbs for the gain.

I understand that it is frustrating we have to do that but this isn't the first time that
different technologies (ocaml, haskell) are forcing Debian to adjust its practices and tools.
